The Power, Instrumentation and Controls Division of Fabtech India Engineering Services has built extensive expertise through years of collaboration with leading oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, and specialized vendors. Its capabilities span the full project cycle from conceptual design and detailed engineering to coordination, execution, and installation, across a wide range of electrical and instrumentation works. The division handles both high‑voltage systems (up to 400 kV) and low‑voltage systems (down to 415 V), ensuring reliable integration of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.

Its portfolio covers diverse facilities such as desalination plants, aluminium smelters, substations, load centres, electrical control rooms, generator houses, power stations, gas turbine stations, overhead transmission lines, high‑capacity cable duct systems, fuel storage buildings, chemical chambers, and ancillary infrastructure. This breadth demonstrates the division’s ability to deliver complex, multidisciplinary projects across industrial and energy sectors.

Over the years, the division has successfully executed major projects including the Buhasa Power Interconnection Upgrade, Ras Abu Fontas Phase A1 Desalination and Seawater Intake Electrical & Instrumentation Works in Qatar, the Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) Smelter Above‑Ground Electrical and Instrumentation Works, replacement of the Sales Gas Compressor Motor at UGP and SGP, and the Upgrade of Gas Compression Plant Power Distribution in Saudi Arabia. In addition, it has delivered numerous 11–400 kV substations across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner for large‑scale power and instrumentation projects in the region.
